We start from Argostoli, and we enter in the path of Ancient Krani. We see the Ancient Acropolis and the Cyclops walls. The view during our tour is amazing as you can see Argostoli, the Koutavos lagoon, and enjoy the nature.

Sami area Unesco geological park and old villages bike tour
We start from the square of Sami and we end up at Karavomylos village where we stop at the lake, the first point of the Global Unesco Geopark. Then we reach the lake cave "Zervati" where we visit from an amazing path. We continue on an uphill route and from a dirt road we reach "Old Vlachata" a village where time stopped in August 1953 on the day of the earthquake. Next stop at the lake cave of "Agioi Theodoroi". Back to bikes and through olive trees and forest we visit another ghost village, the "Old Livathinata" where we admire the old church of Panagia and the ruins. Next stop at the lake cave "Agalaki" where at an incredible spot we will enjoy picnic with local tasty surprises.. Our tour continues to an incredible view of the bay of Sami and Ithaca and ended back to Sami from an easy ride back roads.

*The picnic for the bike tour will be in a basket and includes mainly Kefalonian products: Salad 1st Horiatiki with tomato from the garden, feta cheese and olive oil Kefalonian olives, pepper & 2) Dakos with “stoumpa cheesh” Kefalonian, tomato capers, oregano, olive oil, Kefalonia handmade pies (Meat pie-Spinach pie-Cheese pie), traditional handmade meatballs. Variety of traditional Kefalonian treats (mantoles, pastokydon, handmade pasteli, mandolato) Fresh handmade Lemonade "tsi nonas", iced tea, Coca Cola, Frozen local Beer, fresh seasonal fruit.
